About Kelsey
Kelsey moved to the Denver area from south of Austin in 2021 to broaden her artistic horizons.
She’s been involved in the Visionary Art scene since 2013, live painting at shows and festivals, painting murals, producing a clothing line, and also facilitating multiple organizational roles through the arts.
Her artistic practice has always been interwoven with a path of initiating, and curating arts events, showcases, venues, and teaching art classes for both adults and children.
Service through the arts has always held an important place in her artistic pursuit and Kelsey relates this to being part of her dharma.
Many of her pieces reflect her own spiritual path and speak to the themes of Shadow Work and Transcendence.
“What’s that thing in the corner?”
The sigil that I’ve created as my personal signature is a development that has evolved over the span of my art career. It is a symbol that has come to represent a multitude of things, most importantly ALIGNMENT.
Alignment with one’s higher purpose. Alignment with your connection to this Earth, the body, and with God, the Universe, Source, whatever your name for that higher force may be.
I like to explain the symbol as representing balance while reaching your highest potential while remaining grounded, pushing out the rigidity and embracing the fluidity.
The greatest prayer that I can imagine wishing for anyone is alignment with the self and their life purpose. I believe this planet could achieve perfection if we were each tuned in and trusting to that calling. This signature is not only my personal meditation to remind myself to check in with my own alignment, but also a blessing that I mark my work with so that the intention of the symbol can radiate in the lives of my artistic audience and the spaces my work fills.
